I was wondering if you could help me figure out what's wrong with me if I describe it to you?
But…butbut…even if you described it to me I couldn’t possibly figure out what’s wrong with you, dear!
I once answered a message on here and gave the user three criteria to determine if they had a problem. You only need to answer yes to ONE out of the three:
1. Is is negatively affecting your health?
2. Is it preventing you from achieving your goals, or living your life the way you want to live it?
3. Do you think it’s a problem?
So, if it’s affecting your health but you don’t think it’s a problem—TOO BAD it’s still a problem. But, the reverse is also true. If your health is fine but you think it’s a problem—THEN IT’S A PROBLEM.
Your life should be making you making you happy—maybe challenging sometimes, maybe lousy sometimes, but not so terrible that you feel hopeless.
You had the strength to come to me, and I’m so glad that you reached out, but now you need to channel that, and reach out to someone who can physically hold your hand and hug you and help you sort out your problems in ways I just don’t have the professional experience to do.
Sending you love and good vibes!
